Becci Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Becci. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Becci mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

The Service is operated by:

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Nature of the Service

Becci is a social discovery platform designed to help users reconnect with people they have encountered in real life and discover mobility, delivery, lifestyle, and other services available in their city. Becci is not a dating service, matchmaking service, marriage agency, transportation provider, delivery provider, or mobility operator. Becci does not guarantee that users will find, reconnect with, communicate with, or establish any relationship with other users.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to use the Service.

By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years old;

• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms;

• You will comply with applicable laws and regulations.

4. User Accounts

Users may register using:

• Sign in with Apple

• Google Sign-In

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account;

• Ensuring your information remains accurate;

• All activities conducted through your account.

• You may not share your account with others.

5. User Profiles

Users may create profiles containing:

• Profile photo

• Username

• Name or chosen display name

• City

• Biography

• Website links

• Social media handles and links

You are solely responsible for the information you choose to publish. Becci does not verify the identity of users and does not guarantee the accuracy, authenticity, or completeness of profile information.

6. Social Pools

Becci allows users to participate in location-based social pools. Participation is voluntary.

When you choose to become visible:

• Your profile may become visible to other users participating in the same pool;

• Other users may view information contained in your profile;

• Other users may contact you through social links or websites you choose to publish.

Becci does not display your exact GPS location to other users. Pool visibility is temporary and subject to platform rules and technical limitations.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service may contain links, integrations, or references to third-party services, including but not limited to:

• Mobility providers

• Ride-hailing services

• Delivery services

• Lifestyle services

• Travel services

When you access a third-party service through Becci, you are leaving the Becci environment and interacting directly with the third-party provider.

Becci is not responsible for:

• Third-party services;

• Third-party content;

• Third-party pricing;

• Third-party availability;

• Third-party transactions;

• Third-party policies.

Any relationship between you and a third-party provider exists solely between you and that provider.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service respectfully and lawfully.

You may not use the Service to:

• Harass other users;

• Stalk other users;

• Threaten or intimidate others;

• Publish illegal content;

• Violate privacy rights;

• Engage in fraudulent activities;

• Misrepresent yourself in a harmful or deceptive manner;

• Disrupt the Service;

• Circumvent security measures.

9. Prohibited Conduct

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

Harassment and Abuse

You may not:

• Bully, harass, threaten, or abuse others;

• Encourage violence or self-harm;

• Share hateful or discriminatory content.

Stalking and Surveillance

You may not use Becci to:

• Monitor individuals;

• Track individuals;

• Follow individuals against their wishes;

• Attempt to determine exact user locations.

Impersonation

You may not:

• Pretend to be another person;

• Pretend to represent another organization;

• Mislead users regarding your identity.

Spam

You may not:

• Send unsolicited promotional content;

• Publish repetitive or misleading content;

• Use the Service for mass solicitation.

10. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant Becci a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute such content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. You represent and warrant that you have the rights necessary to publish the content you provide.

11. Reporting and Blocking

Users may report accounts that violate these Terms. Users may block other users.

Becci reserves the right to investigate reports and take appropriate action.

Actions may include:

• Content removal;

• Temporary restrictions;

• Account suspension;

• Permanent account termination.

12. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts at our sole discretion if we believe a user:

• Violates these Terms;

• Violates applicable laws;

• Creates risks for other users;

• Harms the integrity of the Service.

Users may delete their account at any time through the application.

13. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, branding, design, logos, trademarks, and content, is owned by or licensed to Becci.

Except as expressly permitted, users may not:

• Copy;

• Modify;

• Reverse engineer;

• Redistribute;

• Commercially exploit any part of the Service.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Becci disclaims all warranties, including:

• Merchantability;

• Fitness for a particular purpose;

• Non-infringement;

• Availability;

• Reliability.

We do not guarantee:

• Continuous availability;

• Successful connections between users;

• Accuracy of user profiles;

• Availability of third-party services.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Becci shall not be liable for:

• User interactions;

• User conduct;

• User-generated content;

• Third-party services;

• Missed connections;

• Lost opportunities;

• Indirect damages;

• Incidental damages;

• Consequential damages.

Users are solely responsible for their interactions with other users and third parties.

16. Safety Notice

Users are solely responsible for deciding whether and how to contact other users. Becci encourages users to exercise caution when interacting with individuals discovered through the Service. Becci does not perform identity verification and cannot guarantee the identity, intentions, or conduct of users.

17. Changes to the Service

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or update any part of the Service at any time without prior notice. Features, availability, and functionality may change over time.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When material changes are made, we will update the "Last Updated" date and may provide additional notice where required by law. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without regard to conflict of law principles. Where mandatory consumer protection laws apply, such rights remain unaffected.
